Sammi Hanratty BiographySammi was born in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is the youngest of five
daughters. When she was two years old, her family moved to California.
It was at that time that she started telling everyone that she wanted
to be on t.v. or "on the stage". She loved entertaining everyone she
met. When she was six years old, her mother finally met with an agent
in Los Angeles. The next day, she had six runway jobs lined up. Two
weeks later, she booked her first national commercial for Oil of Olay.
(It aired for two years!) She did another national commercial a month
After four months of working in Los Angeles, Sammi and her family moved
back to Arizona. During the next year, she did commercials for Fazoli's
Italian Food Restaurant and America West Aiirlines as well as
voice-overs and print jobs. The market for actors was pretty slow.
However, things changed in the summer of 2003 when she met Linda Henrie
- who is now her manager. Linda encouraged Sammi's mother to bring her
and her sister Danielle out to Los Angeles for the 2004 pilot season.
(The Lord has definitely been watching over her.) Since then, Sammi has
done national commercials for Pringles, McDonald's, Build-a-Bear,
Swiffer, and GMAC Real Estate. She has also done voice-overs for the
Disney Channel and Playhouse Disney. Sammi recently filmed a SAG
Independent Film with her sister Danielle, Quiet Dignity, which will
soon go to film festivals. She just shot an episode of the soap opera
Passions while she was finishing filming a Stephan King movie,
Desperation, with director Mick Garris. She is having the time of her
life fulfilling her dreams.
