AnnaSophia Robb Biography

AnnaSophia Robb, a blond haired, blue-green eyed native of Colorado, began her career in film in 2003 at the age of nine. In three short years she has been credited with eight films, all of which have been leading roles, the most recent, Ferris Wheel directed by Bill Maher, where she Tara, aside Charlize Theron, Dennis Hopper and Nick Stahl.  Her other films from most current to last:

West Texas Children’s Story, 2006 Independent, written and directed by Brad Isaacs.  Co-staring role as Cassie opposite Cayden Boyd, other cast includes: Val Kilmer, Lara Flynn Boyl, Matthew Modine, and Dylan McDermott.

Bridge to Terabithia, Disney and Walden Media’s adaptation of Katharine Paterson’s novel directed by Gabo Csupo. Co-staring role as Leslie opposite Josh Hutcherson, other cast members; Robert Patrick, Zooey Deschanel.

Doubting Thomas, 2006 Independent, directed by Mark Blutman. Co-starring Forrest Landis.

The Reaping, Warner Brothers 2005. A super-natural thriller directed by Stephen Hopkins. Co-staring as Loren opposite Hilary Swank, David Morrissey and Idris Elba.

Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for Warner Brothers, portraying Violet Beauregarde starring opposite Johnny Depp.

Because of Winn Dixie for 20th Century Fox directed by Wayne Wang.  Lead role of Opal, opposite Jeff Daniels, Cicely Tyson, Dave Matthews and Eva Marie Saint.

Television credits include: a guest star appearance for Nickelodeon as Liza in Drake and Josh, and a recurring role as Danielle in Nickelodeon's Danny Phantom, The Today Show, Good Morning America and The Donny Douch Shoow.

AnnaSophia enjoys dance; ballet, jazz, hip-hop, break'n, Irish step. She has a cultivated fashion sense and a penchant for fun, enjoying and endearing herself to others. She has a dog Bella Roux, enjoys outdoor activities: skiing, snowboarding, rafting, gymnastics and swimming. She is an only child and truly enjoys the companionship of several close friends and her ten cousins, eight girls and two boys.
