Summary

A modern day version of the famous Swiss fairy tale. After her mother dies, Heidi is put into custody of her Grandfather, who lives in the Swiss Alps. At first they don't get along. But just as they become friends - Heidi has to move to Berlin an live with her aunt and niece, to be able to go to school. Her jealous niece Clara does everyhting in her power to make Heidi feel unwelcome. Because her aunt is always off to work, Heidi starts to feel very lonely and longs back to her grandfather. With the help of Peter and the kids of an internet café, she decides to abandon her aunt and niece, and travel back to Switzerland.
